The Carnegie Building is located at  200 W. 9th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.

Free parking is available throughout downtown Lawrence. For the ceremony, we recommend the two-hour free lots on the east side of Vermont Street at 9th or 10th Street. Additionally, the Lawrence Public Library's parking garage at Vermont and 8th, one block north, has two-hour free floors, and metered on-street parking is available along 9th and Vermont Streets (meters turn off at 6 p.m.).

FAQ

What’s the dress code?

Semi-formal attire, please! The brides will be in jewel tones, so we ask that you wear white, pastels, or florals. The venue is inside, but if you’re planning to arrive early to explore Lawrence, keep the weather in mind. May in Kansas can be 80 degrees and sunny or 40 degrees and storming.

Can I bring a plus one? What about children?

Your invitation includes a card with the number of seats we have reserved for you! Children are welcome and expected. We will set up a quieter room off the reception hall for anyone who wants a break from the party.

Where’s the wedding registry?

Your presence is the perfect gift! If you wish, in lieu of specific household items, we would deeply appreciate contributions to the Future Farm Fund (which may also support a honeymoon trip somewhere with sheep).

Do you have a hotel block?

We do not have a specific hotel block, but recommend any of the hotels below for our out-of-town guests.

Where should I stay?

There are several hotels in Lawrence, including three downtown.  The Eldridge is a local fixture and only three blocks away from the venue,  The TownePlace Suites is newer and two blocks away from the venue, and  the Springhill Suites is a little further, but still in downtown Lawrence.

Whose last name are you taking?

Three hyphenated names would be really, really long, so we have decided to take a new family name. It will be announced as part of the ceremony.

Wait, why are there three names on this invite?

Because all three of us plan to share our lives, and this is a ceremony to witness our commitment to that bond.
